Lisa and Larry Musolino started Beauty Spot in Concord as a small home based business operation in 1995 and has since become one of the best known local beauty salon brands in the Inner West and City of Sydney.

Beauty Spot is a multi-award winning salon.

Multi-award winning Concord Beauty Spot is considered a local hero throwing the weight of their business behind a wide range of community events and initiatives, supporting local charities and taking a leadership role in their community.

In the beginning, working from home allowed Lisa and Larry to raise their two young children while building up their customer base.

In 2001 they opened their first salon in a strip
shopping centre in Concord NSW.

When they opened this salon, three staff had to be immediately employed to handle the large number of clients.

Within three months of opening the salon, they had outgrown the shop and had to lease extra premises and hire three additional staff to cater for the demand.

Seemingly overnight, Concord Beauty Spot went from a home based business with one staff member servicing clients to a business with two premises and seven staff members.

Over the next two years, Concord Beauty Spot consolidated its business, refining its business practices, expanding its client base and taking a leadership role in the community.

Concord Beauty Spot initially offered essential basic services including facials, waxing and skin care. As part of Concord Beauty Spot’s consolidation, it reassessed its services and began offering their clients an expanded range of treatments including; hydrotherapy, spray tanning, hand and foot treatments and solarium tanning.

In 2003, Larry & Lisa Musolino opened a second salon geographically located in the Sydney Business District known as CityCentre Beauty Spot. Utilising the same business model, this outlet has proven to be an award-winning salon employing eight staff.

In May 2005, Concord Beauty Spot purchased its own premises.

This purpose built salon is designed to cater for future growth within the Beauty and Wellness Industry.

Relocating also afforded Concord Beauty Spot the opportunity to provide even more advanced treatments and services to its clients.

	Vichy Shower

Beauty Spot completed the grand slam of business awards for 2005 by outclassing a field of top class beauty salons to be awarded the Best Beauty Salon of NSW for 2005.

It has been a fantastic year for the Beauty Spot Salons who have been recognised with award after award in 2005.

A gala presentation evening amongst 900 people including dignitaries, politicians and small business operators was held on Saturday 5th November at Star City Casino – Grand Ballroom – Hosted by Channel 10 newsreader – Ron Wilson.

Larry & Lisa Musolino were then ideally placed to realize their dream of national expansion through franchising their successful business model, with new stores opening throughout 2006.

It is also well underway to achieving its mission to help make Australians beautiful and well under its new brand name – BeautyWell®.
